The Critics Consensus said that Friday the 13th Part 2 sets the franchise pattern to the trail with more teen sufferers, more horrible set pieces, and fewer motives to keep following along.

The stars
John Furey (Black Thunder) and Amy Steel (April Fools Day) took part in the film. Apart from that, Stuart Charno (Christine) and also Kirsten Baker (Please Don’t Eat the Babies) appear in the movie. Plus Adrienne King, the original Friday the 13th Final Girl appeared along with Warrington Gillette as Jason.
