The upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake has authoritatively been rated R. While this news is not precisely astonishing, given the determined nature of the terrible crimes committed by Leatherface and his family in every segment of the series. It can still be reflected good news for fans worried that it just might have gone PG-13. Per the MPAA, the film is authoritatively rated R for “bloody solid dreadful ferocity and violence, and language. The news also appears to approve that the authorized title for the sequel is Texas Chainsaw Saw Massacre. It’s a similar tactic to the Halloween franchise, which titled the 2018 film as simply Halloween, even though it worked as a sequel to the original movie. That will also be the incident with the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which will only admit the first TCM film and none of the other sequels. Like Halloween, the new TCMover looks a previous sequel, meaning this will be the third film with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre title.
The stars
While the new sequel endures the story of the original 1974 film directed by Tobe Hooper, it will be featuring new actors in the characters. Mark Burnham will play the role of Leatherface and took concluded the role initially played by late horror legend Gunnar Hansen. Sally Hardesty, the final girl of the first film played by iconic scream queen Marilyn Burns, will be depicted by Olwen Fouéré.The stars in the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre is Elsie Fisher, Moe Dunford, Jacob Latimore, Nell Hudson, Alice Krige, Jessica Allain, Sarah Yarkin, William Hope, Sam Douglas, and Jolyon Coy. David Blue Garcia directs the film and a screenplay writtenby Chris Thomas Devlin. Evil Dead re-creation helmer Fede Alvarez produced the venture.

The real-life crimes inspired the film
There have been many segments of the TCM franchise, but the first film, titled The Texas Chain Saw Massacre initially, is still extensively considered the best of them all. Motivated by the real-life crimes of necrophile Ed Gein, the film trails a group of friends roaming through Texas who fall target to a family of man-eaters in remote Texas.
