Director Leigh Janiak shot the three Fear Street films back-to-back, experimenting with different tones, styles, time periods, and subgenres throughout the trilogy, which is one of the more ambitious horror ventures to come along in recent years.
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 brought the story to a close, but the future of Fear Street is bright. After all, there are several teen horror stories in the R.L. Stine archives to draw from, as well as numerous ways the creative team may expand on the already established premise.

One of the things she mentioned before she was hired was that we have the ability to establish a horror Marvel [Cinematic Universe] here, with slasher murders from all eras. There’s room for everything else within the core mythology canon, which is constructed around the fact that the devil lives in Shadyside.
Janiak hopes that viewers will enjoy the three movies in the trilogy sufficiently which would allow them to build more. The makers of the movie can already imagine what a new trilogy, stand-alones, or television show would be like. She’s enthralled by the prospect of what else might occur.She was really enthusiastic about a 1950s slasher film that she had never watched before, and what that meant. It’s also fun to think about the different eras and what’s possible as a horror enthusiast, according to Janiak.
Janiak’s Fear Street trilogy concludes with the implication that the book that initially unleashed Hell onto Shadyside in the 1600s has been passed along to someone fresh, hinting that the nightmare isn’t quite done yet. If the trilogy is a smash hit with Netflix members, there’s a high chance we’ll be back in town sooner rather than later.
