The Good Fight’s last season intends to tackle real-world political debate in its trademark lighthearted manner.
According to a press release from Paramount+, season 6 of the political drama will examine everything from the overturning of Roe v. Wade to issues with voting rights and Cold War aggressions, leading the lawyers to wonder whether America is destined to experience another civil war both professionally and personally.
Is “The Good Fight: Season 6” based on a true story?
“The Good Fight: Season 6” is based on a true story. If the final season trailer for The Good Fight on Paramount+ (premiering September 8) is any indicator, the show will end on a high note.
Additionally, watch the video to see Carrie Preston and Alan Cumming reprise their The Good Wife roles as Eli Gold and Elsbeth Tascioni, respectively, in addition to much more. And given what Diane wonders toward the conclusion of the trailer, it’s not surprising that Liz needs a glass or two of wine.
According to a teaser from Paramount+, Season 6 will include “Diane feeling like she’s going insane, grappling with an unpleasant sense of déjà vu, with the reversal of Roe v. Wade, to voting rights, and the resumption of Cold War aggressions.” The attorneys at Reddick & Associates are pondering whether the violence they are witnessing all around them portends a coming civil war in the meanwhile. Sarah Steele, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi, and Charmaine Bingwa are also featured in the show.
The series, which Robert and Michelle King co-created with Phil Alden Robinson, is overseen by them as showrunners and executive producers. Additionally serving as executive producers are Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Liz Glotzer, William Finkelstein, Jonathan Tolins, Jacquelyn Reingold, Nelson McCormick, and Baranski. In collaboration with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions, CBS Studios produces the television series.
The Good Fight will premiere its sixth and final season on September 8 on Paramount+.
