The animation studios SILVERLINK and BLADE will develop this upcoming anime series, which will release earlier than expected. The live-streamed “Fantasia Bunko Online Festival 2022” event debuted the second full promotional video for the anime adaptation of Myojin Kato’s The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody novel series. The video unveils more cast members, the ending theme song, a preview, and the April 6 premiere of the anime. The exact number of episodes is still unknown.

In Greatest Demon Lord, who are the characters?
“Greatest Demon Lord” stars a demon lord by the name of Varvatos, as the title suggests. Varvatos is practically all-powerful, yet he is lonely until he decides to reincarnate as the human Ard generations later. Ard, however, is a little too powerful for his own good. He calibrated his magical strength to be perfectly average when he decided to reincarnate. He could not have imagined, however, that everyone in the modern world would be weak.
Despite his relatively high power level, Ard still seeks out genuine companions, which he finds in the form of Irina, a childhood friend. Irina isn’t well-known, yet she appears to be Ard’s only genuine companion. This contrasts sharply with Ard’s teachers and superiors, who are all awestruck by his abilities and treat him differently as a result.
What’s the story of the Greatest Demon Lord?
“The Devil Is a Part-Timer” fans will identify some familiar characters in “Greatest Demon Lord.” To begin with, it is a show about a powerful demon lord that transforms into a human and engages in various shenanigans. Varvatos, however, expresses a desire to become a “typical nobody” in “Greatest Demon Lord.” Sadao, on the other hand, is forced to become a human.
Varvatos chooses to reincarnate in order to escape the loneliness of being all-powerful. In human form, he even purposefully curtailed his magical skills in order to live a more normal life. The main issue is that nearly no one in modern society possesses any magical abilities.
Varvatos’ apparently modest magical abilities nonetheless make life a breeze, albeit in the worst possible way. If only everyone else would let him, he would try to live a normal life as the human Ard.
