With the developing interest of users in video games, a video game series was launched by Bandai Namco Entertainment, known as The Idolmaster. The theme of the video game series was based on the life of a producer, focusing on his career.
He goes on to work with a talent agency- 765 Production. The series received acknowledgment and now has a vast plot, followed by many sequels and spin-offs. The video game series was launched on February 27, 2013. A successor of the game was launched in June 2017.
The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theatre Days was a game launched for platforms like IOS and Androids. The successive game series provided close interaction between players and characters. It also introduced new stages for idols like the theater’s office and waiting room.
A whole range of comics, manga, and video game series of the Idolmaster Million Live! is available. To add to the group, an anime series is also under production by Shirogumi adaptation.
Youichi Katou has worked on writing the script and Shinya Watada has given his direction. The manga of the video game series was published in the Japanese monthly magazine- Monthly Shonen Sunday. It was published for a period of two years from August 2014 to October 2016. The manga was written by Yuki Monji.
What will be the theme of the IDOLM@STER Million Live?
The spinoff which followed the multimedia series is The Idol master Million Live! The spinoff will see new idols who will be working closely with the 765-talent agency producer. After the closure of the original video game, the Shirogumi animation Unit intends to create an anime series based on the- The Idolmaster. The new spinoff will introduce new 37 idols. The new idols will be working with the already existing 13 idols of the 765 Production, with close interaction.
The players will come across idols like – Mirai Kasuga, Tsubasa Ibuki and Shizuka Mogami, played by Haruka Yamazaki, Machico and Azusa Tadokoro.The game of video game was as such that a producer will train idols. There are many talent agencies in a competition like- 65 Pro, 961, 346, 283, and 315 Production. The game focuses on exploring the relations between various idols, who compete with each other to reach stardom.
When will the new series launch?
The news of an anime series of the smartphone game -The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Was announced on the third anniversary of The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theatre Days. It has been declared that the anime in production and soon to be aired, will follow the basic concepts from the beginning of the theatre and idols.
