Last year in March, Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, increasing its monopoly and giving home to both the Alien and the Predator franchise at Marvel Comics. As fans already would have guessed, this opens doors for many crossovers. In the recent issue covers, we see the Yautja warrior going up against Marvel’s superheroes and this action-packed adventure can be enjoyed by fans in May of this year. Bringing together fans of Marvel superheroes and the Predator, these variant covers feature heroes like Spider-Man against the backdrop of the Predator’s wrath.
What we saw on each cover
In the first cover, we see Spider-Woman battling against the Predator on a subway while scared humans run for their lives and in another, the Fantastic 4 go up against it. The Amazing Spider-Man’s spidey senses can be seen going insane as he crawls on the ceiling right above which the Predator stands, looking as furious as ever.
Meanwhile, Miles Morales’ Spider-Man struggles with his ability to go invisible trying to fight the warrior. The Guardians of the Galaxy also go up against the Predator and Valkyrie. The flying warrior tries to take it down. The artists who have worked on these covers are Chris Spouse, Cory Smith, Superlog, Juan José Ryp, Mattia De Iulis and Junggeun Yoon.
