Synopsis
Dwight stalks the roads after dark. He hunts each night for the solitary and lonely, looking for people who won’t be overlooked. Dwight takes no pleasure in this, but he wants their blood. Without fresh human blood, his friable young brother Thomas cannot live. Each death receipts a larger peal, and the load of his crimes pondering heavier each time. It also threatens to crush his spirit. But Thomas and his sister Jessie are the only families Dwight has left. They depend on him as a ferociously private and close-knit family part. They learned the customs to keep their secret. But while Dwight desires another life, Jessie wants them to stay together. And the boy must be nourished.
