    Tokyo Revengers gained wide popularity at its release back last year. The action anime series won hearts with its storyline and distinct characters. The season second is also around the corner. Before its release, let’s have a look at all that has happened till now in season one.

    The story covers the tragic life of the protagonist- TakemichiHanagaki. Once possessing everything, including a healthy relationship with his girlfriend- Hinata Tachibana, the 26-year-old lead is now hopeless. Though all his achievements and relationships were in the past, almost 12 years ago.  Now, he stands without any advantage and has grown as submissive.

    He listens to his boss scolding without any protest, who is younger than him. After facing the tragic death of his girlfriend and her younger brother Note, at the hands of the unpopular killer- Tokyo Manji Gang, he develops a dullness in his life. To add more he was pushed in front of a train.

    The fans receive a spin here as before a few seconds of his death, he experiences flashbacks. Flashbacks or he is pushed back in time? He figures out that he is reliving the same day when Hinata dies at the hands of Tokyo. Though this time, he is aware of the course of events and proceeds to warn the brother of Hinata.

    He tries to convince him to save Hinata’s death, and suddenly he is switched back to the future, where he was almost dead. Surprisingly, he finds himself in a perfect state. At this moment he realizes that the course of events has enabled him to control the time. He interferes through different times to save his ex-girlfriend from a tragic death.

    Tokyo revengers were originally released as a Japanese manga and later a television adaptation of the series followed. Season first was aired in 2021 and continued up to. Season second is also in talks. There is a total of 27 volumes that have been published and the 28th one will be released in the following June. The release of the second season has been released.

    It has been confirmed that Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers will be aired during the Jump Festa 2022 in Japan. No specific date has been announced, but it is for sure that the series is under production. The season will release in this July 2022. The trailer for the same has been released. The season will be first released on Japan TV and will later Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Funimation will host its release.

    In season one, we saw that Takemichi engages himself in numerous battles with other gangs. Saving his girlfriend and friend becomes his sole motive for his previously boring life. We have already seen him gaining strength and creating power and followers to achieve his motive. At the season one ending though we saw that Takemichi is in a life-death situation in fighting his battle against the gang.

    In season one, we saw that he underestimated the strength of his opponent- Toman also known as Tokyo Manji. Toman has a vast gang and it was a challenge to give a challenge to him. Though when Takemichi was teleported in the past, he decides to change this, by evolving himself. He beats the first division chief of the Toman gang who was called Chifuyu Matsuno and acquires his position. Though the ending of season one left us pondering the situation of Takemichi. The plot will probably pick up from the end of season one and will give details about the state of the Takemichi.

    Who will be in the season second?

    The voice actors have been confirmed Yuuki Shin, Tatshuisa Suzuki, Yuu Hayashi, Masaaki Mizunaka, Shunichi Toki, and ShoutarouMorikubo will be giving voices to the characters Takemichi, Ken, Sano, Baji, Hanemiya and Kisakirespectively.
