It was announced that the thirty-second series of Top Gear would be the final series to be produced at the show’s current North London studio before production moves to Bristol. It comes as part of the BBC’s plans to relocate a number of its flagship shows to the city, including Doctor Who and Match of the Day.
It has been reported that the move to Bristol will allow the show to take advantage of new facilities and opportunities for filming across the city. In addition, it is hoped that the move will give the show a fresh start and help to attract a new audience. It will certainly be an exciting series with all the preparation and production work going on!
Chris Harris, Paddy McGuinness, and Freddie Flintoff are back for another series of Top Gear, and this time they’re headed to the Sunshine State. Florida is known for its endless beaches, lush vegetation, and sweltering heat, and the trio will be putting the state to the test as they embark on a series of challenges.
From racing through the everglades to drifting down mountain roads, Harris, McGuinness, and Flintoff will be pushing both themselves and their cars to the limit. With stunning scenery and plenty of opportunity for mayhem, Top Gear: Season 32 is sure to be one of the most exhilarating series yet. So buckle up and get ready for a wild ride.
What is Top Gear: Season 32 (2022) all about?
Top Gear is finally back for its 32nd season with a bang, kicking things off with a huge overseas adventure to Florida. The boys will be putting the new cars to the test in a variety of challenges, from races to off-road adventures. As always, there will be plenty of spills and thrills along the way, so be sure to tune in for all the fun.
The boys will be heading to the States for a special episode, and there’s plenty more in store beyond that. This series includes a tribute to TV cop cars, a new application for the Sinclair C5, and an episode dedicated to electric vehicles in the future. We’ll also be keeping an eye out for them as they get their HGV licenses. So, get ready for another wild ride with the Top Gear crew!
In the first episode, they head to the Palm Beach Raceway to try their hand at an event with its roots in illegal street racing. After crossing the Everglades in their trusty RV, they dip their toes into the rather soggy world of Swamp Buggy Racing. At a banked oval race track called the Freedom Factory, they are introduced to a no-holds-barred form of racing in old police cars. Needless to say, they have a blast, and we can’t wait to see what they get up to next.
While the state is most commonly associated with retired seniors and alligator-infested swamps, the trio quickly found there was much more to Florida than meets the eye. The first contest they took part in was a race from Miami to Key West, with the loser having to drive an RV back up to Miami.
Unsurprisingly, Richard Hammond was the one who ended up getting stuck in the RV, and he was not happy about it. This set the tone for the rest of the season, as the team found themselves taking part in a series of increasingly bizarre and dangerous races. From driving through a hurricane to racing against alligators, Season 32 of Top Gear will surely get into the memories of the audience.
It is sure to be just as fans have come to expect: full of high-octane cars and heart-stopping stunts. This time around, the hosts will be putting a new spin on things by taking an RV on a road trip across America. It won’t be only fun and games, though, as they’ll also be testing out the limits of the RV’s capabilities. Viewers can expect to see some spectacular scenery, as well as some hair-raising moments, as the hosts explore what this iconic American vehicle can really do.
