One of the most engaging anime of the time is Ultraman. The story of a superhero, who saves the planet and vanishes all of a sudden, has kept the fans hooked with the minute animatic fighting scenes. Two seasons of the Ultraman series have been released. The third season is in talks to be premiered soon. Before its release let’s have a quick recap of the storyline.
Our protagonist or the Ultraman is a guy named Shin Hayata. Taking back in time, the story narrates how Shin as Ultraman saves the planet and forgets about his acts. Any memory of him being a superhero is erased from his head. He continues to live his life and settles a family. Though his power travels to his younger son Shinjirou, his strength is unusual for any normal human being.
Though the Giant of Light is reminded of his past by SSSP, the organization which hired him from aliens broke down again. Bemular attacks Shinjirou. Hayata protects his son, but with the growing attacks, young Shinjirou also joins the SSSP. He attains the title of the new “Ultraman”.
What will follow the plot of Season third of Ultraman?
In the last season which was premiered, we saw that a major crisis dawns upon humanity. Mass disappearing of humankind takes place including the young Ultraman- Shinrijou. Shinrijou finds himself at the Dark Starship, along with Rena. Though a mere human, a journalist decided to decode the reason for the sudden mass disappearance. Kotaro Higashi who played the role of a freelance journalist engages himself deeply to find out the mysteries surrounding the disappearance.
It is revealed to us that Dark Star is behind the apocalyptic incident. An alien organization caused the disappearance. The organization proposed an offer that either they will claim half of the Earth or half its population. The investigation of Kotaro continues and he discovers about Dark Star and SSSP. The last time we saw him, Kotaro was stuck in a life-and-death situation. As the final battle dawns upon all the six Ultraman assembles- Seven, Taro, Zoffy, Jack, Ace, and Shinrijou.
In the next season, the final decision of the battle will be revealed. An intense fight between our favorite Ultraman and Dark Star will take place in the last season. Fans will know who will win in the final battle. Any additional power of features to them will be opened in the series itself.
Will there be a season third of the series?
The series before its anime adaptation was published in the Monthly Hero magazine. Total 18th volumes have been published as of yet.
The third season has also been announced and has been confirmed by Netflix. The previous seasons were also available on Netflix for fans to watch. The number of episodes has not been in knowledge. The previous seasons consisted of 13 and 4 episodes. The fans can expect to see all their favorite Ultraman characters in the anime.
When will season third is set to release?
Two seasons have already release of the series in 2019 and 2022. The third season will be released in 2023. The season will air on Netflix. Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi have written the scripts. Tsuburaya Productions will be looking after the publication.
