Virgin River on Netflix is like receiving a warm hug: It’s the perfect homey drama to snuggle up with, with small-town trappings reminiscent of Gilmore Girls and Friday Night Lights, and a memorable ensemble of characters.

Is “Virgin River: Season 4” based on a true story?
“Virgin River: Season 4” is not based on a true story. Netflix rapidly approved extra episodes for the fourth season, bringing the total number of episodes to 12 instead of the customary 10. This is likely owing to the high demand.

In mid-May, Netflix revealed the premiere date for Virgin River season 4: July 20, 2022. By the end of 2021, filming for Season 4 had been completed.
