In June, Jack Osbourne will return to Discovery+ with a brand-new two-hour special, and he’ll be joined by his pal Jason Mewes (Jay of Jay and Silent Bob, as well as Clerks) for the investigation.
In Travel Channel’s series The Osbournes Night of Terror, Osbourne and his renowned family began broadcasting their fascination with the supernatural. Jack has already been confirmed for at least two specials on Discovery+ this year, the first of which was a search for Bigfoot.
On Sunday, June 26th, the first special will be released. The two pals explore Idaho’s backwoods in an attempt to determine whether the fabled Bigfoot is real or simply a myth in Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: Bigfoot.
Osbourne and Mewes had long been fascinated by the Bigfoot mythology, so they decided to investigate the evidence, sightings, and personal interactions with him. Discovery+ appears to be the ideal forum for such an investigation.
During the episode, the two travel deep into the woods in Priest Lake, which has long been thought to be the most likely location for Bigfoot sightings. More Bigfoot sightings have been reported in the Priest Lake region than anywhere else. They camp out in the woods, exposing themselves to probable encounters with bears and mountain lions, if not Bigfoot himself, to make things even more interesting.
“You don’t know whether something is real or not unless you try to find it,” Osbourne said, adding, “You don’t know if something is real or not until you try to find it.” Mewes asserts that he has never attempted anything like this before, and that if proof is discovered, he will rename the town “Mewesbourne.”

Bigfoot is being sought by Jack Osbourne and Jason Mewes. ET has the first look at Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: Bigfoot, a Discovery+ special that follows Osbourne and Mewes on their search for the world’s most enigmatic cryptid.
In the two-hour episode, Osbourne and Mewes travel to the Priest Lake region of northern Idaho’s isolated backwoods to see if Bigfoot is a really undiscovered creature of the North American wilderness or just an age-old tale gone wild.
During their journey, the two will chat with eyewitnesses and specialists, including renowned primatologist Dr. Mireya Mayor, and camp out in the remote, bear-infested woods in search of Bigfoot on its home territory.
“It’s like Bigfoot’s hotspot here.” “There are more Bigfoot sightings per square mile here than anywhere else in the country,” Osbourne says in the teaser for the special, which ET is premiering exclusively. “… We’re out here in the belly of the beast.” We’re alone, secluded, and out in the middle of nowhere… We’re seeking for a mystical monster that may or may not exist.
Osbourne expressed his motivation for embarking on this journey in a press statement.
“You can’t tell if something is real or not until you try to find it,” he explained. “Our mission hinges on this. And, to be honest, I’m a little nervous. We have a large region to cover, with deadly species such as grizzly bears and mountain lions lurking in the shadows. It’s impossible to predict what may emerge from the trees. Hopefully, Jay and I are still alive.”
In the case of Mewes, he admitted, “This is the first time I’ve done something like this. It’s quite bizarre. It’ll be thrilling to see if we can uncover proof, and even better if we can identify it. It’s what I’d call the ‘Mewesbourne.'”
The streaming site also hinted that when Osbourne and Mewes encounter their own strange activities during their search, their first Bigfoot adventure might well convert them into full-fledged believers.
