Encanto is a Walt Disney Animation Studios’ forthcoming computer-animated musical fantasy comedy film set in a fantasy version of Colombia. It is the studio’s 60th picture, directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, co-directed by Charise Castro Smith, produced by Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino, and features Lin-Manuel Miranda’s songs.
Stephanie Beatriz plays Mirabel Madrigal, a young Colombian girl who is frustrated by the fact that she is the only member of her family who lacks magical abilities.

Encanto narrates the story of the Madrigals, a remarkable family who live in the Colombian highlands, in a wonderful house, amid a bustling town, in a wondrous, enchanted area known as an Encanto.
Every child in the family has received a unique gift from the Encanto’s magic, ranging from extreme strength to the ability to heal. Every child apart from one little girl named Mirabel has these special magical powers.
When Mirabel learns that the Encanto’s power is in jeopardy, she realises that she, the lone ordinary Madrigal, may be her remarkable family’s final hope.

Encanto will be released in theatres in the United States on November 24, 2021.
Encanto will be released in theatres in November, however unlike Mulan (2020) and Soul (2020), it will not be available on Disney+ (2020).
There is no news of it being released on any streaming platform yet but is likely to stream on Disney+ post the theatrical release.
Is Encanto on Netflix?
Unfortunately, Encanto will not be available for viewing on Netflix so subscribers will have to find something else to watch on the platform, however there is no dearth of movies on Netflix.
