Netflix continues to invest in additional foreign productions following the tremendous success of Spanish originals like ‘Money Heist.’ The Spanish Original ‘Jaguar,’ a period thriller series revolving around crime which is coming to Netflix this September, is one of its most recent investments.
Bamb Producciones is producing the Netflix original, which is directed by Carlos Sedes and Jacobo Martnez. Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira co-created the show, and they also co-wrote the script with David Orea, Salvador S. Molina, and Moises Gómez.

The series is set in 1960s Spain, when the country acted as a haven for hundreds of Nazis fleeing the country during World War II. In Spain, the Nazis rebuilt their life but concealed their faces behind a scarlet cloak, ostensibly for their own safety because naturally, people wouldn’t accept them otherwise.

When Isabel was a child, Bachman murdered her entire family and she sets out to get her revenge in this series. She discovers that she is not alone in her quest for justice and joins forces with a group of other spies. Isabel’s codename is referred to as ‘Jaguar’ and is the title of the show.

‘Jaguar,’ along with ‘Amor de Madre,’ a new Dani de la Orden film, ‘Fuimos Canciones,’ and a new Daniel Sánchez Arévalo show,’ was one of numerous Spanish titles revealed by Netflix last year.
