Wes Anderson wrote, directed, and produced The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun, a 2021 American comedy-drama anthology film based on a narrative that he co-wrote with Roman Coppola, Hugo Guinness, and Jason Schwartzman. The film was initially announced in December, with Anderson describing it as a love letter to journalists. Filming took place in Angoulême, France, between November 2018 and March 2019, with cinematographer Robert Yeoman.
