Top Gun: Maverick is an upcoming American action-drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski. It is based on a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie, as well as a narrative by Peter Craig and Justin Marks. It’s a follow-up to 1986’s Top Gun.

Maverick meets Lt Bradley Bradshaw, call sign ‘Rooster,’ the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt Nick Bradshaw, alias ‘Goose,’ when he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialised mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen.
Maverick is driven into a confrontation with his own greatest fears as he faces an uncertain future and confronts the demons of his past. All of which culminates in a mission that requires the most ultimate sacrifice from those who are chosen to fly it.
Where to Stream Top Gun: Maverick?
Paramount Pictures plans to distribute the picture in theatres in the United States and Canada on May 27, 2022. It will also be available to stream 45 days following its theatrical release on Paramount+. It was supposed to be released on July 12, 2019, but it was pushed back to “enable the production to figure out all of the intricate flight sequences.” The project was further delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and scheduling issues.
