Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs is an upcoming animated streaming television series in the United States that is a spin-off of The Flintstones. The series, just like Cave Kids, follows the lives of super close friends Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble, who are joined by Dino on various Stone Age experiments and adventures.
On September 30, 2021, the series is set to premiere on HBO Max. This will be the first full-length Flintstones TV series since Cave Kids 25 years ago, and the first since the Hanna-Barbera company closed and creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera died.
What is Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs: Season 1 about?
The new children’s animated comedy series, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, introduces a new generation to the legendary world of the Flintstones and its beloved characters.
The best of friends Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble are two kids from Bedrock, a modern Stone Age civilisation where dinosaurs, including their lovable and loyal pet Dino, are domesticated and helpful.
However, the true “yabba dabba doo” moments are had outside of Bedrock city limits at an area known as The Crags! Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm meet a never-ending cast of prehistoric buddies and explore worlds as diverse, colourful, and unexpected as the dinosaurs who inhabit them.
A trailer has been released and it looks like it will be a fun children’s show that encourages curiosity and learning.
