A Taste of Hunger is an upcoming movie about a Danish couple who sacrifice everything to get a coveted Michelin star for their popular restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark. The movie was produced by Louise Vesth for Zentropa and co-produced by Zentropa Sweden and Film i Väst, with support from the Danish Film Institute, Svenska Filminstitutet and Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
Boe co-wrote the script with Tobias Lindholm, the writer-director of “A War,” who co-wrote many films by Thomas Vinterberg, including his latest, the Mads Mikkelsen-starrer “Another Round.”
Welcome to Malus, the bright new star on the culinary sky in Denmark. Here, space and time distort as you follow Maggie (Greis-Rosenthal) who is married to Carsten (Coster-Waldau). They love each other, they have two wonderful children and run their own gourmet restaurant in Malus.
