The episode follows a battle between Abishola and Gloria. “As Abishola begins studying for medical school,” the press launch reads. “She offends Gloria with an insensitive comment about Gloria’s own journey of almost becoming a doctor. Also, Tunde schools a reluctant Bob on the art of home repair while helping to fix his dishwasher.”
Lastly, on December 27, 2021, the Bob Hearts Abishola Season 2 episode, “A Big African Bassoon,” airs before new episodes return. It’s the final episode of the present to air in 2021. The episode sees Abishola taking over extra duties at the hospital, leaving Douglas (Matt Jones) and Christina (Maribeth Monroe) to care for his or her mother.
