The live show for Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will be anchored by headliners Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown Band, with additional mainstage guest artists. Country music’s hottest superstars ring in the new year on CBS with high-energy performances of the Lineup’s Biggest Hits and Once-in-a-Lifetime Collaborations of Some of the Greatest Country Music Songs of All Time.
The CBS special will be hosted by radio and TV personality Bobby Bones and co-hosted by Rachel Smith of “Entertainment Tonight.” This year’s celebration marks the first time Nashville will anchor an entire New Year’s Eve national TV special. The special is executive produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in partnership with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. The special will be directed by Sandra Restrepo.
The concert is free and open to the public. The star-studded special will feature a staggering hit parade of more than 50 back-to-back performances from some of country’s hottest acts, including Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, and Zac Brown Band and as well as include acts from Lower Broadway’s honky-tonks, bars and clubs. The Fisk Jubilee Singers, a world-renowned ensemble, will perform a selection of spiritual music at the top of the show.
The five-hour broadcast will cross multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight, ET, culminating with the renowned Nashville music note drop and fireworks at midnight, CT. The show will keep the party going through midnight Central Time with the city’s renowned Music Note Drop. As a live event, New Year’s Eve generates as much as $26.2 million in direct visitor spending and an attendance of 200,000.
It marks the eye network’s return to live New Year’s programming after two decades, with some of country music’s biggest stars set to perform at the event. Also, this year marks the 13th New Year’s Eve event and fifth year at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. This is a New Year’s party you don’t want to miss!
