Where Can I Watch The Expanse: Season 6 (2021)?

There is both a good or bad news for the fans of The Expanse in November as it was announced that the science fiction drama series (which is currently in the midst of streaming season 5) had been renewed for a sixth season on Amazon Prime Video. That was the good news. The bad news was the fact that season 6 was going to be the show’s last.

It is based on a book series of the same name by James S.A. After the conclusion of season 3, it was cancelled by the Syfy channel. But, shows got a new life when Alcon Television Group, the studio that produces the show, sold it to Amazon, who picked up the series for seasons 4 and 5, and then renewed it for what they are billing as a final season 6.

The sixth and final season of The Expanse picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars.  As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide of the conflict.

Meanwhile, in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run after betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power begins to rise.” The trailer also gives us our first glimpse of a young Laconian girl who comes into contact with a pack of “dogs” that possess unsettling abilities and leaves us wondering how they might be connected to whatever nefarious plans Duarte is cooking up. But perhaps the bigger question is how final is it?

The Expanse’s sixth season promises to be the most intense and exciting one yet. Everyone in the main cast from the previous seasons is set to return—including Steven Strait as James Holden, Tipper, Wes Chatham as Amos Burton, Shohreh Aghdashloo as Chrisjen Avasarala, and Frankie Adams as Bobbie Draper. Not returning is Cas Anvar, who played Martian pilot Alex Kamal for the first five seasons.
