What is Prisoners of the Ghostland about?
The movie follows a violent bank robber played by the one and only Nicholas Cage who gets released from prison in the perilous frontier city of Samurai Town by a wealthy warlord. The Governor, played by Moseley, who has lost contact with his adopted granddaughter Bernice, sets him free but on a condition.
In exchange for retrieving the runaway girl, the Governor grants the prisoner his freedom. The bandit then sets off on a trip to find the young woman and along with her, his own path to redemption. One of the best parts is to see him strapped with a leather outfit that will self-destruct in five days.

On January 31, the film made its international premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2021. Those who have seen it have mostly praised it, calling it a strange adventure that more than holds your attention as you see Nic Cage deliver another insane performance.
