Laurie Nunn created Sex Education, a British comedy-drama television series for Netflix. The series follows the students, faculty, and parents at the fictional Moordale Secondary School as they deal with personal issues, many of which are tied to sexual intimacy. Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Aimee Lou Wood, Tanya Reynolds, and Patricia Allison are among the cast members.
The first series debuted on January 11, 2019, and the second on January 17, 2020. On September 17, 2021, a third series will be released. Sex Education has been a critical and economic success, with more than 40 million people watching the first season after it premiered. Wood received Best Female Comedy Performance for the second season at the BAFTA Television Awards.
What is Sex Education about?
In the first season, Otis and Maeve start a sex advice business to help their fellow students with their sexual issues. Their firm is a success, but Otis develops feelings for Maeve, which leads to friction.
After Ola becomes his girlfriend in the second series, Otis is confronted with the realities and pressures of a high school romance. The advent of new students who threaten the existing quo at Moordale, as well as a chlamydia outbreak that drives students to question and grapple with current concerns, put their relationship to the test.
This time, a new headmaster vows to cleanse the brains of these teenagers and get them back on the straight and narrow. Old habits die hard for our favourite characters, and Sex Education season three will see them struggle to adjust to this backwards lifestyle. We don’t think Miss Hope Haddon will be able to hold on to her new post for long.
And, as is customary for Sex Education, several significant health and social issues will be addressed, including Aimee’s recovery from her heinous sexual assault in season two.

Sex Education season three will premiere on Netflix on September 17th, 2021, with all eight episodes available. So, you will have to be subscribed to the streaming service to watch this series.
Is Sex Education on Amazon Prime?
Backyard Blowout will not be available on Amazon Prime and there is no information yet about any other streaming service apart from Netflix.
