    The film, which will be released on December 16th, 2021, covers the lives of three brothers, Ugo, Chike, and Obi, as well as their mother, whose only hope is for her sons to bring home a bride. Their sick mother drags her single sons around about their lifestyle choices until they agree to bring their partners home on Christmas Day. The only problem is that these partners don’t exist, forcing them to rush to fulfil their dying mother’s wishes.

     A Naija Christmas is a film made by Kunle Afolayan and set in Lagos, Nigeria. It stars Mercy Johnson, Kunle Remi, EfaIwara, Ade Laoye, Abayomi Alvin, and the late Rachael Oniga, who plays the loving but unrelenting mother. “A Naija Christmas movie is authentic, original, amusing, and the first Christmas movie of its sort,” says prolific filmmaker Kunle Afolayan of why A Naija Christmas is the must-see film this season.
