Netflix recently released a trailer for their newest feature film, and it should come with a warning: it may cause heavy breathing and frequent nail-biting. Based on Ejnar Mikkelsen’s memoir, Against the Ice stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Mikkelsen, an Arctic explorer who is hell-bent on finding the Mylius-Erichsen expedition diaries, this would show that the previously held belief about the shape of the East Greenland shore was a myth, erroneous, and apparently self-serving to the United States.
While the tale is rooted in Danish history, the trailer quickly establishes the stakes of the picture, emphasizing the difficult weather and seemingly fruitless journey that Mikkelsen and his solitary companion Iver Iversen (Joe Cole) go on. The tension starts right away in the trailer, as Charles Dance gives the film’s thesis, saying, “It is to ensure that the records of your discoveries are transferred safely and securely when you venture into unfamiliar places to discover new portions of the planet. Whether you’re there or not.”
The trailer does its job, presenting Waldau and Cole and laying out the horrors that await them. The trailer’s score becomes increasingly enigmatic and intriguing as the intrepid explorers battle the environment, wildlife, their own mental ability, and each other as they venture deeper into the polar terrain, which features Torben Forsberg’s magnificent cinematography.

Is “Against The Ice” on Netflix?
Against the Ice, directed by Peter Flinth, will premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 2nd.
Netflix stated this week that two of the three subscription tiers in the United States will be boosting their costs. The base package is now $13.99 per month, while the premium tier has increased to $17.99 per month. If you recall, the last time Netflix hiked its fees was in January of this year.
Because the regular plan is the most popular in the United States, the $1 price increase is anticipated to affect a large number of subscribers. The premium package, which includes 4K video and enables for streaming to four devices, has increased by $2 from $15.99 to $19.99. Fortunately, the basic plan will continue at $8.99 per month (for the time being).
