National Geographic programming president Courteney Monroe announced a brand new series called “America The Beautiful,” which would be available on Disney+ shortly, during the Walt Disney Companies Investor Day event.
AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL – It’s the place we adore as well as the one we believe we know. The gorgeous scenery and fauna of America seem eternal in our minds, but the reality is much different. Its peculiar terrain pushes nature’s forces to their limits, changing and reshaping the landscape and posing new challenges to life.
AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL is the ambitious narrative of our homeland from the award-winning makers of “Planet Earth,” “Frozen Planet,” and the “Disneynature” films.
We’ll travel across America’s visually magnificent areas, led by the iconic animals that connect with us the most: the Frozen North, the Wild West, the Grassy Heartland, the Deep South, and the Mountainous High Wilderness.
America the Beautiful, Disney+’s next National Geographic series, is planned to premiere exclusively on the streaming platform on July 4 and will take viewers throughout the country.

Is “America The Beautiful” on Disney+?
America the Beautiful, Disney+’s next National Geographic series, is planned to premiere exclusively on the streaming platform on July 4 and will take viewers throughout the country.
The Disney Plus subscription is a one-size-fits-all model. There are no tiers to choose from; all you have to do is sign up. It cost $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year ($5.83 per month) when it originally began, which was much less than competing streaming services like Netflix.
Even with the price rise for Disney Plus, the cost is still significantly less than that of competitors. Disney+ costs $7.99 a month in the United States or $79.99 per year ($6.66 per month). If you merely look at the yearly membership fee rise, it appears to be rather significant, but when you divide it by 12 months, it comes to less than a $1.
Customers will still get a fair bargain, and given that Disney+ has over 100 million yearly members, we’re confident that they will be pleased with the minor increase. For more information on Disney+’s subscribership, check out our streaming services statistics.
