The film is an emotional journey of a queer girl who has identified herself as a queer person but has not got the courage to determine the course of her life. Queer people often do not want to identify themselves as the same due to societal customs, and once they do, they cannot accept the injustices of their dear ones done towards them. Consequently, they tend to alienate themselves in order to survive according to their own will.
The protagonist of the movie goes through a similar journey where she is living under job pressure and relationship issues. She is supposed to return to Montreal but gathers the courage to explore herself and life in Amsterdam. The storyline revolves around her personal experiences, emotions, feelings, perceptions, and desires.
