The debut date of Claws’ fourth and final season has been pushed up by TNT. The network announced Wednesday that the last season will premiere with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, December 19 at 9 p.m. It had been set for a week later, on December 26, 2021.
The dark comedy follows Desna Simms, played by Niecy Nash-Betts, as she climbs to dominance in the criminal underworld with the help of her team of manicurists from the Nail Artisans of Manatee County salon. Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, Karrueche Tran, Jenn Lyon, Kevin Rankin, Jason Antoon, and Harold Ramis are among the cast members.
Plot: ‘Claws,’ a half-hour single-camera comedy that first aired on HBO, features five manicurists who infiltrate the male-dominated world of organised crime after laundering money for a neighboring pain clinic, only to go on to lead their own criminal empire.
On Desna’s birthday, the final episode of Season 3 found everything looking fantastic for the salon owner. Everything goes wrong when Benedict, a member of the Triad group, exposes his plans to expand casinos without her.
Mayhem, murder, arson, and a host of secrets are unleashed at the end of the season, but season 4 will unveil all of the skeletons in people’s closets, and everyone will have to face their fate. Will they be apprehended? Are they going to be able to get away with it all? If you don’t try, you’ll never know.
Will the show release on Amazon Prime?
No, the show is not going to release on Prime Video. When Amazon wanted to ramp up its original content, they went straight to comedies. Transparent is the granddaddy of Amazon’s comedy shows, if not all of streaming. It’s set the tone for the streaming service’s commitment to quality television humour.
Other streaming sites have subsequently followed suit, but for good comedy, Amazon is always a solid pick. Jeff Bezos’ lads know you need to chuckle, whether it’s through one of their originals or something utterly unexpected. “Transparent”, “Girls” are some best comedies from the platform.
Will the show release on Netflix?
The series is not going to release on this platform. Netflix has been experimenting with genre recently, with their latest mashup being the rom-com heist Army of Thieves – but there’s no disputing that comedy is one of the streaming service’s most successful genres.
Season four of Sex Education’s season 4 as the series has always been in Netflix’s Top Ten list for over a month, so it’s no surprise that it’s – but, unlike On My Block, which just published its fourth and final season, this may not be the show’s final instalment.
With all 180 episodes of the satirical sitcom now accessible to stream on Netflix, Seinfeld was one of the few sitcoms to make it over the four-season mark.
