The streaming service stated that its basic plan in the United States will increase from $8.99 to $9.99 per month, allowing users to view on one screen at a time and only in standard definition. A regular subscription with two screens and HD access has doubled in price from $13.99 to $15.49 per month. In addition, Netflix’s premium subscription options, which include Ultra HD, have gone up from $17.99 to $19.99 per month.
The cost of the basic plan remains the same in Canada. A normal subscription, on the other hand, will now cost $16.49 CAD per month, while a premium subscription will cost $20.99 CAD per month.
Netflix’s popular mobile plan has been cut from Rs 199 to Rs 149 per month. The basic plan is now Rs 199 per month instead of Rs 499 per month, the standard plan is now Rs 499 per month instead of Rs 649 per month, and the premium plan is now Rs 649 per month instead of Rs 799 per month.
