    Where To Watch “Picabo”?

Lindsey Vonn, the Olympic gold medalist in alpine skiing, is taking a turn behind the camera to tell the story of her childhood hero Picabo Street.

Street first met Vonn when he was nine years old at an autograph signing at a ski shop in Minnesota. Vonn is now the most decorated female alpine skier of all time. Her desire to be an Olympian was fuelled by that meeting.

Now, with the first career-spanning film charting the life of Street, an alpine skiing icon of the 1990s, she’s ready to ‘finally repay the favor.’

PICABO features an emotional interview with Vonn as well as a never-before-seen behind-the-scenes video of Street’s life, from her atypical beginnings in rural Idaho to her Olympic accomplishments, remarkable recoveries from ill-timed injuries, and her incarceration in 2015 due to false claims.

PICABO is part of the Olympic Channel’s unique Five Rings Films series, which features insightful and entertaining feature-length documentaries created by some of the world’s most renowned filmmakers. “The Nagano Tapes,” “Rulon,” and “The Distance,” all released ahead of Tokyo 2020, are among the previous releases. The Olympic Channel’s executive producer is Greg Groggel.
