Griffin Campbell, 12, moves into the shuttered and deteriorating Tremont Hotel in Sulphur Springs, Louisiana, after his father finds a new job. Savannah Dillon, a camper at the Tremont Camp who vanished thirty years ago, is claimed to haunt the motel. Griffin and his new best friend Harper from his new school uncover a gateway that sends them 30 years back in time to 1990, where they meet and learn what happened to Savannah Dillon. They attempt to prevent Savannah’s disappearance.
