Where To Watch “Shenmue The Animation”?

Shenmue is a film based on Yu Suzuki’s Sega Dreamcast video game of the same name. It chronicles the narrative of Ryo Hazuki, who practises Hazuki Style Jujitsu under his adored father. When Ryo’s father is murdered, he is forced to embark on a trip that will forever change him.

The official trailer opens with a demonstration of Ryo’s Jujitsu skills as he defeats a learner in a match. Ryo declines his friends’ offers to celebrate his victory in order to train with his father, but he sees his father’s death when he arrives to the Hazuki Dojo. He decides he needs to figure out why his father was murdered, and he meets a cast of fascinating personalities along the way.

The 13-episode series will be directed by Chikara Sakurai, who was behind the second season of One Punch Man. Austin Tindle plays Ryu, Scott Gibbs plays Lan Di, Natalie Rial plays Shenhua, Cat Thomas plays Nozomi Harasaki, and Jeremy Gee plays Guizhang Chen in the English dub. Telecom Animation Film is in charge of the animation, with Kensuke Ishikawa as the Chief Animation Director.
