Where To Watch “The Sky Is Everywhere”?

Cherry Jones and Jason Segel will act opposite Grace Kaufman in The Sky Is Everywhere, a new Apple Original film from Apple’s current partnership with A24. The movie is made on a novel by Jandy Nelson, which she will adapt. Josephine Decker, who directed Madeline’s Madeline and Shirley, starring Elisabeth Moss, will direct the film.

The story revolves around Lennie (Kaufman), a youngster who is dealing with the death of her sister Bailey. Her journey involves an unintentional love affair.

Jones will play Gram, Lennie, and Bailey’s kind and caring grandmother, who adopts and nurtures them in her house, where her son, Big (Segel), also lives. The sisters’ eccentric and caring uncle, the town Lothario who manages a local hot air balloon company and falls in love with whichever woman he takes up in the balloon, is played by Segel.

Along with Decker, Denise Di Novi and Margaret French Isaac will produce for Di Novi Pictures.

Apple Original Films and A24’s adaptation of Jandy Nelson’s best-selling YA novel about 17-year-old Lennie Walker (Grace Kaufman), a brilliant musical genius who is struggling following the untimely loss of her elder sister Bailey, has been given an exclusive first look by EW (Havana Rose Liu).

Lennie is drawn to Joe Fontaine (Jacques Colimon), the charismatic new man at school, but her unclear connection with her sister’s shattered boyfriend, the quiet, seductive Toby (Pico Alexander), starts to hinder their developing love. Lennie navigates first love and first grief through her creative, visceral imagination and conflicted emotions, eventually learning how to write her own song.
