Plot- According to the official trailer, the film will follow Mikaela Leighton (Krystal Joy Brown), who works as a romance novelist. While she’s had a lot of success in the industry, she’s had a hard time finding true love for herself, and the protagonist of her run of successful novels is still unmarried.
Worse, Mikaela is experiencing writer’s block while her publisher presses her to finish her next book. Her late author mother used to host a Christmas writer’s retreat in a small, “quaint” inn by the banks of a winter lake in her hometown every year.
