Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, and Steve-O created Jackass Forever, an upcoming American reality slapstick comedy film directed by Tremaine and produced by Tremaine, Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, and Steve-O. It is the fourth instalment in the Jackass series and the follow-up to Jackass 3D. (2010).
Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Jasper Dolphin, and Zach Holmes join Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, and Preston Lacy in the film. It will also feature a number of star guests. MTV Entertainment Studios and Dickhouse Productions are producing the picture, which will be released in theatres on February 4, 2022 by Paramount Pictures.
The Jackass movies don’t have much of a plot since it’s all about pranks, stunts, and wild escapades. The fourth film got off to a rocky start, with on-set injuries. Aaron ‘Jaws’ Homoki, a professional skateboarder, shattered his wrist just two days after shooting the test.
Filming was therefore halted, as it had been with so many other projects, due to the mounting global health crisis. Filming resumed in December 2020, only to be cut short two days later when Steve-O and Knoxville were rushed back to the hospital.
The film will be another mishmash of crazy stunts and slapstick comedy, according to a new trailer. The trailer makes it apparent that the film is about the joy of being with your friends who share a love of performing crazy and often dangerous comic acts.
