Pete lost his father Scott Davidson, a New York firefighter, in the 9/11 World Trade Centre Tragedy. Pete’s otherwise happy childhood was shattered by his father’s untimely demise and struggled to recover from the trauma even to this point, he started ripping out his own hair. Davidson confesses to having had suicidal thoughts and appeared to be plagued by depression very early on. While he was still in High School, Pete found some respite in comedy and decided to take it up as a full-time career alternative. In 2014, he joined Saturday Night Live at only 20 becoming one of the youngest cast members on the show.
