Zack Snyder has defined Army of the Dead as an “advancement” of the zombie category.Few things could apt that explanation better than zombies emergingintellect and creating their own culture and social ladder. Decided, this is a notion that has been proposed before in zombie films, particularly Warm Bodies, but that is an action rom-com, not the clean action-horror film of Snyder.
