Bonaventura explained that they wanted to give the viewers something fresh. The conflict between the Autobots and the Decepticons has been exhausted. Thus,if you’ve seen the earlier films, you’ll notice that there will be villains you’ve never seen before in the new film.As well as a lot of elements have never been done before. While Decepticons would appear in the film, he later stated that the Terrorcons will be the main antagonists.

Caple Jr. remarked that he was very excited to have Optimus Prime be the main character in this instalment and he wanted to explore underneath the skin of this famous robot. We can expect G1 Optimus Prime in the upcoming movie.

The film will adapt stories from the Beast Wars franchise, which has included video games, books, an animated TV series, and comic books throughout the years, so there are a lot of possibilities. The original animated series, which starred Maximal and Predacons as progenitors of the Autobots and Decepticons, aired from 1996 to 1999, thus a hybrid cross-over for the film could be exactly what the Transformers movie franchise needs.

The film isn’t slated to start shooting until next year, so it’ll be a while before we see the robots in disguise on the big screen again.
