‘Eli Roth’s History Of Horror’ Will Be Back Soon

In 2018, ‘Eli Roth’s History of Horror’ is a docu-series with each episode running for about forty-five minutes. Eli Raphael Roth is an American actor, director, editor, producer, and writer associated closely with the horror genre. Having worked on big films like ‘Knock Knock’ (2015) and ‘The House with a Clock in its Walls’ (2018), Roth has gained quite the appreciation in the industry. When his docu-series first premiered, it gave fans a more vivid look into the world of horror and where it all began. It did very well for two seasons and is now renewed for a third season.

    For those strangers to Roth

Roth himself acts as the host of the show while he chats with some of the greatest pioneers of the horror genre, such as Jordan Peele (Get Out, 2017), Stephen King (The Shining, 1980), Ari Aster (Midsommar, 2019), Quentin Tarantino (From Dusk till Dawn, 1996), and many more. Having already broadcasted shows like ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Killing Eve,’ and films like ‘The Shawshank Redemption,’ and ‘Forest Gump,’ AMC has made its mark by adding this show to its list with Eli Roth as executive producer.

Titles for the new episodes have been released

While the first season gave fans a comprehensive understanding and indulgence into zombies, slashers, demons, and vampires, the second season dealt with haunted houses, witches, evil children, and nightmares. Season three has equally great discussions in-store with six hour-long episodes titled ‘Sinister Physics,’ ‘Infections,’ ‘Mad Scientists,’ ‘Apocalyptic Horror,’ ‘Sequels that don’t Suck,’ and ‘Holiday Horror.’ It seems like the third season will heavily lean towards the sci-fi sub-genre of horror from these title names.
