    What is ‘Wicked’ about

It is almost impossible for someone to not know about the The Wizard of Oz unless they have been living under a rock. The musical ‘Wicked’ is based on the story of the Wicked Witch of the West from the former story. In the books, Oz cast away the green-skinned sorceress, leading to a chain of events that shape the rest of the story. It will be interesting to see how the makers incorporate musical elements into this while doing justice to the Broadway version.
