    If Zombies Ate My Neighbors Disappointed You, Try THIS!

    The recent re-release of LucasArts’ classic Zombies Ate My Neighbors to consoles and PC may disappoint some of you. The selection is a little on the lean side when it comes to re-releases.

    If you’re in that camp, Doom will always be there to help you out. The TC is still in the works, but there’s plenty of excitement as you can see from the several videos on the modder’s YouTube website.

    It’s also not just a straightforward reskin. Dude27th is working on remaking the weaponry (namely, things that aren’t in Doom II, such as soda cans and crucifixes), objects, adversaries, and, of course, cooperative play! The TC is currently at level 7, but there is still enough to enjoy.

    All you’ll need is a copy of Doom II and GZDoom to get this baby up and running.

    In 1993, LucasArts and Konami released Zombies Ate My Neighbors, a run-and-gun video game for the Super NES and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis systems.

    One or two players take control of Zeke and Julie, the titular neighbours, to save them from monsters. A range of weaponry and power-ups can be employed to combat the numerous adversaries in each level, assisting them in their mission. In the game, several elements and characteristics of horror films are referenced, with some of the game’s more violent violence being restricted in some areas, such as Europe and Australia, where it is known merely as Zombies.

    In June 2021, it was rereleased on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows as part of Lucasfilm Classic Games: Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol.
