Fans Can Now Experience ‘Silent Hill’ Through The Upcoming DLC Of ‘Dark Deception: Monsters And Mortals’

In February 2021, Glowstick Entertainment’s ‘Dark Deception: Monsters and Mortals’ will be releasing a new DLC, and it is super exciting. The game is based on 2018’s ‘Dark Deception’ and will be available with up to eight DLCs. One of these confirms a crossover with ‘Silent Hill,’ a survival horror video game published by Konami in 1999. Konami Digital Entertainment’s official YouTube handle has released a trailer that features the Silent Hill DLC we can get our hands on in Monsters and Mortals.

A trailer that does not give too much away

The trailer is barely a minute-long and features nothing but names of the two games and the arrival of a new challenger, but if the viewers see closely, they will notice a few scenes within the font from Silent Hill 2 & 3. Other than the upcoming Silent Hill crossover, Monsters and Mortals have a ‘Monstrum,’ ‘Yandere Simulator,’ ‘Evil Nun: The Broken Mask,’ and ‘The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters’ crossover. The first of these has already been released in December last year. Although the hints are vague and the information is scarce, fans speculate that they will get to see Pyramid Head from ‘Silent Hill,’ as the game features not just humans but also monsters.

Why Dark Deception games are so thrilling

Anyone who plays ‘Dark Deception’ can play as a human or as a monster. The game has several different modes, such as Maze Escape, where one player competes against three while collecting as many shards as needed to escape unlocking the portal. There is a deadline, but there is also the fear of being chased down and hunted by a monster before one completes their goal. Another game mode is called Shard Mayhem, where all four players compete against each other in a limited time. Whoever collects the maximum shards, be it through those spawned or by killing the other players and stealing from them, wins. The last game mode, called Soul Collection, requires four players, playing as mortals, to collect shards and consequently rescue their souls. However, it does not end there. The player with the fewest shards will fall prey to Malak, who will steal their soul and turn them into a monster that must then hunt down the remaining mortals. Finally, one will survive.
