Will We See An Unmasked Michael Myers In Halloween Kills? – Watch The Trailer!

The first trailer for Halloween Kills has debuted, and it not only explains how Michael Myers escaped the fire at the end of the previous film, but it also indicates that he will be unmasked. Halloween series is one of many franchises lead by slashers. It all started with John Carpenter’s Halloween in 1978, when the audience was introduced to serial killer Michael Myers and final girl Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis).

Halloween depicts the storey of Michael Myers, a six-year-old boy who murdered his sister on Halloween night in 1963. Michael was committed to Smith’s Grove Sanitarium, but 15 years later, on October 30, 1978, he escaped. On Halloween night, he returned to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, and began stalking Laurie Strode and her pals. Laurie was the lone survivor of Michael’s killing spree, and she remained his main target in the most of the films (when she was killed, her daughter Jamie Lloyd became the target).

Michael has only appeared in front of the camera three times in all these years. At the end of the first film, when his entire face was shown, and in the final act of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. He also appears in Rob Zombie’s Halloween films without a mask. That is about to change in Halloween Kills, as the first trailer depicts Laurie’s daughter Karen (Judy Greer) holding Michael Myers’ mask and taunting him.

It’s unclear whether his face will be shown on screen or if he would turn away from the camera. In the Halloween reboot, the actor behind the mask is James Jude Courtney, who was previously seen as an unmasked Michael Myers in a behind-the-scenes photo from the previous Halloween film, with his left eye scarred after the events of the first Halloween.

Michael will be unmasked in Halloween Kills which picks up just where the previous film left off, breaking a tradition, but it’s unclear whether his whole face will be displayed on film.
