Released in 2020, ‘Host’ is a horror mystery film directed by Rob Savage and starring Haley Bishop (Glow, 2015), Jemma Moore (Wonder Woman, 2017), Emma Louise Webb (The Crown), and Radina Drandova (Kitty’s Fortune, 2016). The film was produced by Shadowhouse Films and centres around a group of friends who start to experience supernatural occurrences around them after accidentally summoning a demonic presence through an online séance. Savage has previously directed films like ‘Dawn of the Deaf,’ and ‘Strings.’ Broke Horror Fan is now bringing ‘Host’ to fans on an exclusive VHS in February.

Launched in 2014 and licensed to launch modern horror films on VHS in 2017, Broke Horror Fan is now all set to bring the first creeps of 2021 through VHS. Previously, they have released VHS copies of films like ‘Terrifier,’ ‘Nightmare Cinema,’ and more. The ‘Host’ VHS will be limited-edition and has been fit into 4:3 full frame to be viewed by the audience on the 2nd of February. The VHS will come with two options of variants that fans can choose from- One with art by Eileen Steinbach and another with Neil Fraser.

Best use of the situation and a little surprise!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rob Savage could make great use of available resources and have the actors shoot the film from their respective homes. The film’s storyline made it convenient. Savage and RLJE Films have given a nod of approval to Broke Horror Fans for this new VHS release in modern cinema with a nostalgic viewing. Make sure to stick around till after the end of the film as they have also added a featurette with some behind-the-scenes footage.
