Megan Fox Says She Would Like To See A TV Series Sequel Of Jennifer’s Body

Megan Fox wants to see a JENNIFER’S BODY sequel in the form of a TV series. We’d love it if it could be turned into a TV show!

When Jennifer’s Body was released in 2009, it garnered mixed reviews. The film (directed by Karyn Kusama from a script by Diablo Cody) has been re-evaluated and lauded as a feminist retribution masterpiece in the years since it was released. Megan Fox plays Jennifer, while Amanda Seyfried plays Needy, Jennifer’s best friend.

In a frenzied horror, high school drama, the plot follows Jennifer and Needy, two closest friends. Jennifer (Megan Fox) turns a hungry eye on guys who never stood a chance with her before as a monster takes possession of her. While Jennifer feeds her desire for human flesh by preying on the school’s male population, Needy (Amanda Seyfried), Jennifer’s nerdy buddy, learns of the carnage and vows to stop it.

Fox has expressed his desire to see Jennifer’s Body resurrected in a recent interview with The Washington Post. She assured them that she doesn’t think a sequel to Jennifer’s Body will be difficult to develop. She thinks it would be cool if they turned it into a TV series

The film made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a mediocre response at the box office, grossing only $6.8 million in its first weekend. It has been praised as a feminist horror film and a cult favourite, despite mixed reviews.

The film has a 45 percent acceptance rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Critics Consensus that reads: Jennifer’s Body contains occasionally smart dialogue, but its horror/comedy premise ultimately fails to be consistently humorous or scary enough to satisfy.

It is however a cult classic and maybe a remake would fix the issues with the original movie and make critics happy?
