    Netflix’s ‘The Sandman’ Has Given Fans More Than Just A Tease By Releasing The Full Cast List For The Show

    Netflix series ‘The Sandman’ based on the same name’s comics, is set to release this year. ‘The Sandman’ comics are written by Neil Gaiman, published by DC Comics, and tells the story of a sandman named Dream who goes on a quest to restore what was once his home after getting out of captivity lasted seventy years. Artists such as Jill Thompson, Sam Keith, and Dave McKean have worked on this comic series that first came out in 1989 and were followed by more than ten books. Netflix announced in 2019 that they plan to adapt these comics into a Netflix original. Since filming began in October 2020, fans have been waiting desperately for any information that they could get their hands on.

    Who will we get to see and what roles they will play

    Finally, we have a full list of the cast that we will see on the live-action dark-fantasy show. This includes Tom Sturridge (‘Far from The Madding Crowd,’ 2015) who will play the protagonist named Dream, the Lord of the dreaming, and Gwendoline Christie (‘Game of Thrones’) who will play the role of Lucifer, the ruler of hell. Fans are most excited to see these two playing such prominent roles. We also see Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, Boyd Holbrook as the Corinthian, Charles Dance as Roderick Burgess, Asim Chaudhry as Abel, and Sanjeev Bhaskar as Cain.

    Other crew members working on making this a success

    While Allan Heinberg will be developing the show, he will also serve as executive producer and Gaiman and David S Goyer. Already backed by Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment’s biggest production companies, this series will attempt to do justice to ‘The Sandman’ comics and successfully adapt it to screen.
