New Horror Film Will Allow Viewers To Decide Their Character’s Fate

Video game developer and publisher Wales Interactive Limited has recently announced a new horror interactive film due later this year. The Welsh independent developer has previously worked on games such as ‘The Bunker’ (2016) and ‘Maid of Sker’ (2020). This year, ‘I Saw Black Clouds’ will be made available on Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. While Wales Interactive will publish the film, it is developed by Ghost Dog Films, based in the UK. The Full Motion Video (FMV) thriller will be releasing in Q1 of this year.

    Synopsis

The film centres on Kristina, played by Penny Dreadful’s Nicole O’Neill, who goes on a truth-finding quest after the mysterious death of her best friend and uncovers some dark and unexpected secrets. The moral choices made along the way will be decided by the viewer and can be the determining factor in what Kristina finds. It offers multiple playthroughs and possibly more than one ending. Not only this, but a special feature has been added for streamers so they can pause the film, discuss their options with fans, and then make their choices.

    Features it will include

The FMV is live-action and filmed in the UK with some excellent visuals. It will also involve real-time tracking of relationships and personality to develop the character according to the player’s choices. The minute-long trailer does not feature much dialogue but has plenty of harrowing imagery and an ominous background score. Fans can expect quite the journey through their character and must now be excited about a release date’s official announcement.
