Night of the Living Dead II will feature three known figures from another Romero classic, the sequel Day of the Dead, as shown in a short teaser clip released this week.
Lori Cardille, who starred in Day of the Dead, released the teaser clip on social media, implying that she will be rejoining with Terry Alexander and Jarlath Conroy in the upcoming film.
It’s worth noting that Cardille, Alexander, and Conroy are three of only a few surviving characters from Romero’s films. Is NOTLD II going to feature them in the same roles?
Night of the Living Dead II, which was first teased by our friends at Rue Morgue, is an unauthorised sequel to George A. Romero’s horror classic Night of the Living Dead, as you may have seen on your different social media feeds over the previous few days.

According to the site, Marcus Slabine is the director of this “sequel,” which stars David Howard Thornton who is bestknwon for playing Art the Clown in the Terrifier movies, as one of the film’s shambling zombies.
Night of the Living Dead II takes place on an isolated island where a small group of survivors of the zombie apocalypse seek refuge, only to confront new terror as the flesh-eaters find their way ashore. Rue Morgue teases Day of the Dead fans and horror fans with this one.
Doesn’t that sound like an unauthorised sequel to Day of the Dead?
Considering that some of the original cast is also returning, this makes the movie even more exciting for all horror fans. This does indeed seem like a reunion of sorts that one would see in the sequel of a movie but after all, an unauthorised sequel is better than no sequel at all.
