New Movie Poster For Don’t Breathe 2 Is Finally Here

On August 13th, Don’t Breathe 2 will be released in theatres. And word on the street is that we’re in for a fantastic sequel.

We found one hell of a cool international poster for the next film just in time to whet our appetites even more. We get a nice look at both of the main protagonists in this new poster.

Stephen Lang, who plays The Blind Man, is depicted hovering protectively behind the young girl, Madelyn Grace, in the sales art. The Blind Man’s super-objective has always been parenting, so when kidnappers come for his daughter, it is safe to say that he’s not happy.

We appreciate the marketing materials’ resemblance to the initial poster’s stark choices. It’s clean, straightforward, and terrifying.

Rodo Sayagues, co-writer of Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe, is working on Don’t Breathe 2, which will hit theatres on August 13, 2021!

The story centers around the blind man that we saw in the first instalment in the movie series. Everyone misjudged Norman Nordstrom, played by Stephen Lang because of his blindness in Don’t Breathe: he exhibited an uncompromising drive to survive and get what he wants. However, he also showed a hideous, evil side of his personality, as complete emptiness and apathy – no person or conscience – will stand in his way.

Now, eight years later, in Don’t Breathe 2, Nordstrom lives with 11-year-old Phoenix, and he has restored the family that was snatched from him by a drunk driver, as well as the twisted justice he’s always thought was owed to him. When intruders return to Norman’s home, this time with a focus on Phoenix, Norman will expose what’s concealed inside him for the second time. It will happen in fresh and surprising ways all over again.

When Don’t Breathe was released in 2016, it grossed over $150 million at the movie office. Let’s see if we can get a full-fledged franchise for everyone’s favourite blind daddy in the works!
